About Father’s Rights for Colorado.
Fathers’ Rights for Colorado was formed to give Father’s an outlet for support and to share their stories. These are not “Angry Fathers” who are out to avoid financial obligations or to ignore their children. These are Fathers who are heart-sick, worried, scared and frustrated by not being able to spend time with their children. These are Fathers who are fighting desperately for normal every day contact with their children.

Imagine for a moment Lighting Candles World Wide and all at the same time. Imagine your child knowing we are Lighting Candles World Wide just for them.
We have given this a lot of thought and we have come to the conclusion that everyone can light a candle at their home or in their home town at a designated place.
You can be apart of Lighting Candles World Wide to show a united front for the children and their need to have both parents and grandparents in their lives.
We have chosen December 18, 2008 at 5:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time (Denver Colorado location) at the Colorado State Capitol west steps, Lincoln and Colfax St. for our first annual Denver "Lighting Candles World Wide" which is exactly one week before Christmas. This is the hardest time of year for those missing their children, but especially for the children who are missing a parent or grandparents or in some cases siblings and of course their extended family.
We realize that in far too many cases the children pay a very hard price for the actions of their adult parents. We are asking everyone to come together on this very special day of Lighting Candles World Wide. One candle lit from each and every one of us at the same time will make a vibrant light world wide and make this a very special Christmas.
We believe if asked, a child would pick both parents instead of just one. We also believe that a child should not be forced or tricked into giving up a parent because the other parent no longer needs or wants that parent.
We are asking for everyone to put the children first and allow our country to heal the family. There is nothing more important than family. There is no greater gift than family.
We want to light candles in every town within every county within every state in the US. We are also getting great response from other countries... India, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Brazil, Russia, Great Britain and several places in Europe such as Italy and Germany. We look forward to lighting a candle with you.
This is a WORLD WIDE event and we want You to be involved.
Our goal is to light all the candles at the same exact same minute all over the world, therefore your time to light candles even though at the exact minute we do, might very well be a different day and/or time then ours.
Our second annual Lighting Candles World Wide will be April 25, 2009.
We invite you to join us in this humanitarian effort for all children and their families.

5:30 - 6:30 PM RALLY ON THE WEST STEPS OF THE CAPITOL (14TH AND LINCOLN).

April 25 is Parental Alienation Awareness Day.
Enlighten your legislators and other elected officials about Parental Alienation and Parental Alienation Syndrome. Inform them of the devastating effects of Hostile Aggressive Parenting and the damage inflicted upon children of divorce. Let them know how the Divorce Industry is ruining lives and getting rich in the process. Tell them our Family Law courts are broken and in need of major reformation.

Keep Your Stories Coming! - Jan 6th, 2008
WOW....... Thankyou to everyone who has emailed their story to us. Father's we are not alone. Together we can create one voice and draw attention to the unjust against fathers and their children.
Restraining Orders. Accusations of abuse. Accusations of sexual abuse. Accusations of anger management. Bias Judge's, CFI's, Police. Parental Alienation. We're all living this nightmare and we need your stories. We will be sending out a press release to the media to educate the public about how women are abusing the system to keep fathers from being a part of their childrens' lives. And, how the judicial system is rewarding this behavior. So, we need other stories to validate our claim that this is not just a disgruntled father's rant but a travesty that is happening time and time again, every day right in our own backyard.
We need a short synopsis (2 or 3 paragraphs) of your story. At this point we will not be using your name and will only do so in the future with your permission. Email them to frc@fathersrightscolorado.com

09/13/07 - WANTED - Fathers who have been denied visitation by the Douglas County Sheriff Office or any other Sheriff Office - Have you been told by the sheriff office to voluntarily give up your visitation while they investigate accusations against YOU. If you said NO they threaten you and say they will go a get a TRO. If so please let me know via this site. I know of least two other fathers recently that this has happen too. This is a direct violation of the constitution due process rights.
